In comparison to red, it is calmer, more subtle, and cheerful. With many celebrities and influencers choosing pink for their bridal lehenga, the color is gaining a lot of popularity and appreciation by most soon-to-be brides.
The beautiful lehenga worn by Anushka Sharma on her wedding day took 32 days to complete with the help of 67 karigars. The lehenga cost 30 lakhs and was in a beautiful blush pink color and had Indian lotus motifs along with European flowers and leaves.
Meera Rajput’s powder pastel pink lehenga by Anamika Khanna shows her subtle classic taste. The lehenga is doused in pearls, 3D flowers, floral embroidery with floral knots also had Zardozi work. The lehenga took 48 days and was made by 67 artisans.
Neha Kakkar’s grand wedding was not less than a fairy tale. The beautiful singer wore a lehenga gifted by Sabyasachi himself! The lehenga had zardozi and meenakari work with hints of green and magenta.
Neeta Lulla’s daughter, Nishka Lulla too wore a bright pink and peacock colored, Radha Rani inspired lehenga for her big fat wedding. With a 30 feet long veil, and pearl embroidery, the lehenga had Tanjore paintings on the border.
